Quaint little West-Coast style fish and chips restaurant with super friendly staff. Seems to be a local favorite. I've been for lunch a few times and have seen regulars come in and out. Fast service and good food! I recommend it.

Amazing owners, amazing food & I love that they have a dedicated fryer for gluten-free. They have a great selection of gluten free menu options as well! Owner's are incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly and welcoming as well. Hands down, best fish and chips place around! We frequent it as much as we can afford to. Having my allergies accommodated without the worry of cross contamination or risk, is so refreshing! Many restaurants could learn a few things from them!

The food at this restaurant exceeded my expectations and the customer service was delightful. I enjoyed visiting Captain Jack's for lunch and will likely do so again in the near future. The food was very reasonably priced and I have no complaints about the quality. The venue itself is well decorated and portrays a fun, thoughtful theme throughout.

Amazing, authenic East coast style mom and pop shop. Homeyy and without pretention. Just fantastic, honest and delicious food with great service and great prices. Capt.Jacks is my go to fish and chips shop.

We were welcomed with open arms and true Canadian friendliness. The service is very good and the halibut and chips delicious. It is so fresh and indulged with having it fried and it was not greasy. The coleslaw was a great compliment to the meal. we have moved to the US and fish and chips is not easy to come by especially halibut. We will be back and thanks for taking such good care of my parents.

Hands down the best fish and chips in town, it's like you got it fresh from the Maritimes. The hospitality is also like being back home in the Maritimes, warm and friendly. Highly recommend.

Had the haddock special for lunch today..$8.50!!..way cheaper than a greasy burger and fries. Service was quick...a great place to stop on lunch. Portion size is perfect.. not too many fries (which how many times would just ended up wasted)...and I do prefer my fish with light batter which they will happily do upon request.

This place is my go to spot for a night out. Good food and great environment, if you don't make the best of friends with the lovely lady who owns it you will most definitely be fed well! If you ever happen to stumble upon this place do me a favour and her that Tommy sent Ya. Went there for the first time today and had perfect fish and chips. Tasty and fresh. Will definitely be going back.

What a great little resteraunt ! We've passed by this storefront many times saying we should try it and finally got around to visiting. It wont be the last time ! The fish and chips (why would you order the burger !) were cooked to perfection, crispy English style batter (available gluten free too !) fresh cut chips and a generous helping of homemade coleslaw. The staff were great and the feel of the resteraunt would remind you of being on the East Coast. Good value and just right portions.

Wonderful haddock as well as schnitzel on a bun. Reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Family owned hole in the wall type of restaurant. You're paying for the food quality, not the decor. Would eat here again.

Great fish and chips and the service is fast and friendly. The hostess makes sure you have all the extras (cutlery, ketchup, vinegar, etc.) before you head out the door with your takeout. I go there almost weekly and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

You can feel good giving your money to Captain Jack's restaurant in exchange for their lovely fish and chips; big chain restaurants don't really need your money and have servers that will never remember you and don't really love their jobs. Captain Jack's, however, is an amazing, independent restaurant, run by a hard-working couple who deserve for their restaurant to thrive for many years to come.

Its a cute little restaurant that's easy to miss. The prices are very reasonable for the food you get. I went for lunch and got haddock, the taste is spot on. The staff are friendly and service is quick. Would definitely return for another lunch excursion.

Their fish and chips were really good.

Ordered through skip the dishes at 6pm and the delivery driver didn't show up at the restaurant until 7pm which is when the store is supposed to close... Not only did they stay open to wait for the driver but they re made all the food so it would be fresh and they did it all without us calling to complain, they're the ones that called us to apologize for skip the dishes being late. Food was priced good and tasted amazing would definitely eat there again but will never order anything from skip the dishes in the future.
